This Privacy Policy explains how PoultryIQ ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our mobile application and related services, including cloud sync/backup, crash reporting, analytics, and subscriptions/in-app purchases.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: If you sign in, we may collect identifiers such as user ID (UID), name, and avatar (if provided by your sign-in method).
- User content & farm data: Data you create or upload in the app (e.g., farms, flocks, records, notes, photos), used to provide app features and (if enabled) cloud sync/backup.
- Device & usage information: Device model, OS/app version, language/timezone, and usage events to understand feature usage and improve the app.
- Crash & diagnostics: Crash logs, stack traces, and performance signals to diagnose issues and improve stability.
- Purchase information: Subscription/in-app purchase status, product identifiers, and entitlement/receipt verification results. We do not collect your full payment card details; payments are processed by the app store.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide core features (records, dashboards, reminders, and farm management tools).
- Enable cloud sync and cloud backup (if you sign in and enable/subscribe where applicable).
- Operate subscriptions/in-app purchases (entitlement activation, restore purchases, fraud prevention).
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues.
- Analyze usage to improve product experience and performance.
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information in these cases:
- Service providers: We may use third-party providers for authentication, cloud storage/sync, crash reporting, and analytics (e.g., Firebase services). They process data on our behalf to deliver these functions.
- Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred with appropriate safeguards.
4. Data Storage, Transfers, and Retention
- Local storage: Some data is stored on your device.
- Cloud storage: If you enable cloud sync/backup, your data may be stored on cloud servers operated by our providers and may be located outside your country/region.
- Retention: We keep information only as long as necessary for the purposes described, unless a longer period is required by law.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information (e.g., access controls and encrypted transport where supported). However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
6. Your Choices and Rights
- You may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your data where applicable.
- You may stop analytics collection by disabling related options if provided, or by uninstalling the app.
